Paige Marie Whitehill has been performing for people since the age of 8 years old. She was first cast in a Christmas play at Greenford Christian church in the character of “Super Star”. This began a long history of performing in more than 28 theatrical shows with local community theater groups. In Spring 2023, she accomplished her dream role by starring as Donna in the musical Momma Mia performed at Salem High School. During her theater journey, Paige also began taking vocal lessons from the Cari Auth Vocal Studio. Through the years, she rose to become one of Cari’s strongest performers at live voice recitals. She graduated from Salem High School in 2023, and now attends The University of Akron with plans to pursue a law degree.
Paige’s dad Brian, has been performing in live bands since his early 20’s. In the summer of 2022, she joined him for a couple gigs in central West Virginia. After a smokey bar and 3 hour ride to and from the show, he asked if she still really wanted to play in a band. She said yes, and the process of forming the Paige Marie project was started. Her first promotional photos were taken at the family farm in Summersville, WV.
Paige loves to sing country music, but she has a rock and roll side as well. Her personality draws people to love her and pull out their phones to video when they see her perform. See for yourself!
Brian has also been active as an actor in local theater for many years. But his real passion has been playing the drums for area bands such as Night Moves, Sector 7 and Helen’s Closet (having founded the last two bands). In addition, Brian was seen for many years as drummer for Greenford Christian Church. His primary focus now is to pass the torch to Paige as she begins her own musical journey.
Evan graduated from Heartland Christian School in 2023. He’s been studying and performing piano since he was 7yrs old. He now attends Belmont University with a Piano Performance Major. In addition to playing piano, he enjoys composing his own music and playing the tenor saxophone. He also plays in the Greenford Christian Church praise team, and various local theater productions in the area. Outside of music, he enjoys running, bowling, reading and hanging out with friends.
Todd is a self-taught guitarist, who has been playing for over 40 years. He is also a graduate of Salem High School. Todd, Brian and soundman Travis spent many study halls hanging out together in the practice rooms of the band wing at Salem High School. Todd has now been a teacher in Salem for 30 years, and also carries the distinction of having been Paige’s math teacher in Junior High.
Sam Morris has long been a staple of the Youngstown music scene, appearing in many bands over the years, most notably The Fringe and Mark Soini Trio. His ability to quickly absorb material of different styles has made him a “first-call” bassist. He’s a rocker at heart and brings that energy to Paige Marie and is eager to help the next generation of musicians. In his free time, he likes to exercise and read. He lives in Boardman with his girlfriend Bethany and children Sebastian and Sophia.
Claudia’s background singing harmonies in church, and when she heard Paige at a live show, she was so impressed that she approached the band about joining as a backing vocalist. She’s a wife, mother, and business owner when she’s not on stage.
